Marla Bendini

Dream Dimensions I

Installation-performance by Marla Bendini & Michael Lee

“Dream Dimensions” is a new installation-performance series by Marla Bendini and Michael Lee that explores the social dimensions of fantasy, in the context of urbanisation. The first installment in this series is sited at Sentosa Boardwalk, the footbridge between mainland Singapore and Sentosa island. The performance will be in the form of a cruise party where the artists engage guests and passers-by through an installation of drawings and artefacts—negotiating spaces, functions and roles, improvising through contact, exchange and imagination.

The artwork is featured in an episode of the television series “Watch This Space II”, commissioned by okto channel, and broadcasted on 11th April 2012, 10pm.
